eBay pricing rules
Learn how automatic pricing rules work and how to review changes.
A rule updates one inventory item's eBay listing
Each pricing rule is tied to one inventory item in BinFlip. You choose how often BinFlip should evaluate it, how much to reduce the price, and the minimum price where reductions should stop.
When that inventory item has exactly one active eBay listing connected, BinFlip can update that listing for you on the rule's schedule.
This is useful for stale inventory, older listings, or items where you want a predictable markdown plan.
Minimum price is the guardrail
BinFlip will not intentionally reduce a listing below the minimum price you set. Pick a minimum that still makes sense after fees, shipping, and your cost of goods.
You can pause, edit, or delete rules whenever your pricing strategy changes.
One active listing keeps automation trustworthy
Pricing rules do not require eBay SKUs. BinFlip uses the inventory item and its connected active eBay listing to decide what should be repriced.
If more than one active eBay listing is tied to the same inventory item, BinFlip will not run the rule and will automatically remove it. That is uncommon, but it prevents the wrong listing from being updated.
The goal is simple: when a rule runs, you should be able to trust that it updates the exact listing you created the rule for.
